As for Hitler...he was not a Christian. How do i know this? Because the bible says, a good tree produces good fruit. A bad tree produces bad fruit. A bad tree can not produce good fruit and a good tree can not produce bad fruit. You will know them by their fruits.

Hitlers fruits say it all. It doesnt matter how much he claims to have been a Christian...he was not one. This is the same today...many people claim to be Christians, but they dont live that way. That makes them not Christians. They are what we refer to as false Christians.

You guys are hilarious by the way. You will go out and say Paul is not a follower of Christ, but Hitler was!

There is not a simple dichotomy - Good vs Evil. Good-Evil is a continuum, nay - a nebulous field of ambiguity - with no demarcation clearly separating one from the other. While extreme good may be clearly differentiable from extreme evil what's somewhat good in one set of circumstances may be somewhat bad in another.

Hence our intelligence. We are duty-bound (to God) to use our intelligence to extract from ambiguity the knowledge of what is good and evil in a given set of circumstances. We are further duty-bound to act (Free Will) in accordance with what we have discovered is good.

As you can see, the Book of Biff contradicts the Garden of Eden stuff about biting the apple of the knowledge of good/evil being itself an evil thing. Biff sez it was a good thing and that God was only kidding (testing our intelligence).

And that's how it is and I don't have time for any silly disagreements.

There is no debating about whether or not salvation is a matter of grace -- it is (Eph. 2:8). We are not saved by works of our own righteousness but according to God's mercy (Titus 3:5). The question is whether or not there are works of another class included within the realm of grace? Does the Bible teach there are "works" which exclude boasting consistent with divine grace?

The Bible says that Abraham was saved by "works" (Jam. 2:21-23). These were works of faith, that is, obedience to God which was rooted in and sprang forth from faith (Heb. 11:8, 17-19). There is no sense in which the works which Abraham did can be said to have been "his own works." He did not appoint the journey. He did not originate the sacrifice of his only son. God asked for these things and Abraham with implicit trust obeyed God.

Thus, we are urged to walk in the steps of Abraham's faith (Rom. 4:12). How can we so walk, if "doing" nullifies grace?

Peter clearly declares salvation is promised to him that fears God and works righteousness (Acts 10:34-35). Paul affirms that he preached in order to secure from others the "obedience of faith" (Rom. 1:5; 16:26). Such obedience is not inconsistent with grace, but establishes grace (Rom. 6:15-18).
