Acting godly and righteous doesn't require invoking the name of God, only acting with the spirit of God within.
People should just shut up about professing to be doing God's will and simply do the right thing.
The ACLU can never silence the beliefs of a righteous man, nor keep the man from acting righteously.
What they may stop however, is self righteous behavior and self righteous actions by public officials.

Aside from the Bush-bashing, you make a good point. I think most people of faith would agree with it. Here is the dilemma however. Everytime we try to align ourselves with God, the ACLU files a lawsuit and some liberal judge announces that the First Amendment "really" requires that all traces of religion be scrubbed from public view.
