Goal in 2015: $92k to $150k

Any chance you would share your thought process behind one of you successful recent trades

I'm not a good trader (and never been one) but used to work for a family office which was featured on "Big Short" movie aka brownfield capital.

Up until now, I was trading high yield stocks in oil sector since Nov 2020 when it was at $40/barrel. Since Fed jacked up the rate which IB increased its margin rate, I have been liquidating leveraged positions. Now, I'm only focusing on what I know from brownfield - betting on LEAPs. I have TEVA call options expiring 2023 and 2024 which turned out to be good.

And I'm doing research on companies like PRTY and GT - if they have a good catalyst in near future, I may buy LEAPs on them too. If not, I will look for another one...

As of last Thursday (9/15) waiting IB for Friday's report:

Just want to say your posts are an inspiration... and truly an example of that a bamboo tree could takes years to take root but then grow very fast in 3 months. Not many people stick to trading for this long and not many people stick out for this long with this amazin' performance. But I can appreciate the gruelin' journey.

I have also had a harsh drawdown in 2020 but I'm thankful for it because it taught me a lot like risk management to never let a harsh drawdonw happen again and how to stay equanimous in the face of fear and uncertainty. It is just money! What's more important is the health and joie de vie or joie de trade!

Just for kicks, my daily distributions of return post 2020 (not as good as yours during the same time period); thanks and keep postin' because I'm payin' attention and appreciate the grind!
