Just a quick update on my portfolio. Since this February, I took out more than $50k to fund my start up company.

For 2014, I had +41.9% in 2014 or +136% since Jan 2012:

Well, I don't trade high beta stocks. Otherwise I would get wiped out pretty quickly at any time due to the margin requirement.

There are few strategies that I use including:

- option writing
- long on high yield stocks
- arbitrage on time value
- fundamental analysis

I would admit that over 50% of my profit was due to the option writing which many people told me that I was jumping around a minefield. I have been told that I didn't know what I was doing which I agreed with them at some degree as I didn't know all the terms in option (gamma, theta...)
