My boss loved the book. He would joke about it before our morning risk meetings. This was in 2008. I can’t tell you his name as he’s one of the 50 most powerful men on Wall Street.

the movie was okay. Then again the only two good Wall Street movies were trading places and margin call. A few weeks ago I did watch trading places in my dedicated home theatre room.

i never understood why people liked that movie. I remember being in a video store snd some junior banker in his blue shirt and gold tie came up to me expounding how awesome that movie was. I thought the movie was dumb and the point is lost on any Wall Streeter who likes it.

Well, when was the last time you saw it? Watch it again, and maybe if the gap in time was long enough, you may get it's nuances. Aged wisdom begets the ability to see nuance.

Dunno, but one think I'd bet big money on is that it won't ever see its recent highs in the 300s or what not. At least in the foreseeable future. But my thinking that probably means it will hit 1,000 soon lol...

Regardless, its a hell of a ride to watch!!!
