Way to go with your GM trading. I love that stock. It doesn't sit still for long, and trends both intraday and daily. Thankfully I was flat Friday. CAT on the other hand, wow. To personify a stock, it prefers to jerk the heck out of us.

I am trying to get in and stay in but it has been difficult. Stocks that I think have some longer term potential are XRX, UIS, BEAS, FNSR. The internet is here to stay, and online purchasing is becoming so mainstream. As such, I think internet backbone stocks, and online retailers will be good vehicles for making money. Also, air travel is not going away, and neither are automobiles.

I shorted 1K GM at 36.11 early today(Mon.), we'll see how it pans out today.. I'm not covering for a loss i'll tell you that.

hung tough with my GM SHORT.

GM just went hog wild today, HOD of 36.90! i was near panic mode at that point. GM closed to a more manageable 36.34. Hopefully tommorrow will be different.

short 500 SLB at 48.51 today. Looks like SLB is finally all out of steam. While all indexes was at intraday highs, SLB remained in the RED throughout. Hinting by today's action, I'm looking for SLB to fall like a brick soon.

any action with you guys?
 
Tough being hard-headed enough to stay short right now. But, I'm dumber, and more pain resistent, than the more prudent trader. . . .

Will add to GM short above $37 (still expect to see $30 before $40), short more DE above $46.

Started new short on MMS at $27. SLM's slapping me pretty good, got a little relief today! FDC finally starting to 'roll-over'?

Jim, I don't have the guts to short stocks with lower volume like MMS. I hope this nice move down in GM is serving you well.

I know you have to be happy today Maike. That would have had me puckered all day long. As it worked out, I had some shorts on JNJ and CAT that both worked out after that selloff. I covered about 3:30 or so, a bit early, but made some decent dough anyway.

Nice work and keep it up.
 
oh u bet i was smiling a mile wide all day long today Jordan. It felt good to be on the right side of the trade. Covered GM at 35.70. LOD was 35.40, closed 35.95. A Nice 410. Got greedy and let some profit get away but overall i'm estatic to be on the plus side after yesterday's events.

SLB 500 SHORT 48.51 yesterday, covered at 47.81 today. +350 on this one.

Refering to SLB or GM?

SLB broke support popular support at 47. It seems like each and everytime right after I cover SLB, it would tank. Luck always work that way for me.
