In HS I bought a Chrysler. had transmission problems. Had to replace it. Checking around with the guys back then, well, Chrysler was known for transmission problems. Fast forward 30 years later, I bought a new Dodge Truck, lo and behold Transmission problems.
Check on the net, notorious for transmission problems. 30 years later same old crapola.
Then I buy a new GM Truck.Guess what, 30 years ago the 350 was famoous for the "tick" I guess it was the a lifter making the noise.I buy the new GM truck and guess what, after about 1 yr it devolped a "tick" which went to piston slap which went to a dealer for a trade in pronto.
I had a new Ford Truck, no problems except for the finance terms ( Ileased it) had some issues turning it in early with High mileage so I bought the Dodge.
I've always owned a vehicle from the Big 3.
