Actually ....the Amtrak analogy is quite on the mark....

It is like the whole "protective" government reasoning to garner votes and keeping out the pain....

Is like trying to kiss a beautiful woman through a glass window....

So far the protection is ....

banker/government/big business lobbyist roladex based

two political party by advertising budget lobbyist system

legal largesse was the bigger factor that killed GM....and a lot more to come....

WMT protected US citizens with cheap Chinese products

the govt. is now going to protect all the little people by hidden govt./corp. facism

govt. protection from the uglies in capitalism....

Isn't it all just wonderful....

The G scale is going to become quite common....

Doctors will love being on the G scale....

And the way it's going....it will be quite a task to
find someone not on a G scale....

One wonders if all clothes colors will match the G scale levels....

I drove in Trabant and other state-produced "cars" and it definitely won't be a problem to motivate myself to avoid buying GM, Chrysler.
 
What really sucks is the IRS just sent me a letter. The IRS said I overpaid my quarterly estimates & 2008 tax bill, so they wanted to verify a location to send the refund????

They are sending me a Saturn Sky and a H3 Hummer as my refund??? :eek:
