Globex CL vs CL

Lucias, I use IQFeed as well and I watch CL like a hawk. Check out the CME's contract spec page for CL:

As you can see the contract is traded electronically on Globex, and also pit traded when the pit is open, but they're the same contract.

The symbol you want on IQFeed is QCL#.

When the CME bought NYMEX, all electronic CL was moved to Globex that trades out of Aurora in Chicago suburbs. The pit traded contract still trades in NY. You might be interested in QM which also trades on the CME, which is a smaller version.

This stuff is confusing if you are not indoctrinated in it.
