As with politics (democrat or republican), the argument is reduced to believing in climate change or not. But what about the problem of pollution?

Quote from olias:
It's not 'zealotry' at all.
You are the zealot insisting that you 'know' global warming is 'bullshit'. It is religious zealots who want to sell others on the idea that they have all the answers and cannot be questioned or challenged. "....fearing not I'd become my enemy in the instant that I preach.."
I, on the other hand, am not insisting that I have the answers. I'm saying there is very strong evidence that we (humans) are causing global warming. And yes it can be explained and tested. Could the theory be wrong? of course, but don't shut down the debate and ignore the evidence.
Excerpt from The Weather Isn't Getting Weirder:
researchers have yet to find evidence of more-extreme weather patterns over the period, contrary to what the models predict. "There's no data-driven answer yet to the question of how human activity has affected extreme weather"
