Global warming is good for the economy

According to this article, the first quarter of this year and the first quarter of last year saw decreases in the economy because of cold weather. If cold weather causes the economy to contract, won't global warming help the economy?

For the third time since the expansion began in June 2009, the U.S. economy suffered a setback.

Gross domestic product shrank at a 0.7 percent annualized rate in the first quarter, revised from a previously reported 0.2 percent gain, according to Commerce Department figures issued Friday in Washington. That’s the weakest reading since frigid winter temperatures derailed growth at the start of 2014.

While bad weather once again probably contributed to last quarter’s slump, other impediments were also at work -- including a swelling trade deficit caused by a strong dollar and plunging investment in oil exploration following the drop in fuel prices. Federal Reserve officials are among those who believe the slowdown will be temporary, helping explain why they are considering raising interest rates later this year.

We're in a relatively warm period between ice ages.

Our history is going to look pretty silly when all mankind is confined to the ice free region between 20 degrees North and 20 degrees South latitude and most of the human population is gone. The good new is that our history will not likely be preserved due to our predilection for digital information.

It is more than just warming. It's climate change. More like climate wilding.

Global Warming
Climate Change
Climate Disruption

Climate Wilding

Let's see what magical term the alarmists come up with next as their fabrications are continually revealed.

So you agree with the main stream media assertion that cold winters are bad for the economy?

Umm yes. But extreme long term very cold and snowy winters could increase with global warming. Remember polar vortex? They are already dropping more snow.

so in the short run the models fail and in the long run it could get colder?
thanks... we spend billions on that stuff. and now in California we are spending 40 to 50 cents a gallon and its going up... on this pre fascist wealth stealing crap.

You still know nothing about the science of climate change. Amazing.
