This entire subject confuses me. Didn't Obama promise to cause the sea level to drop? We mocked him for it, but now it may be his one lasting legacy. Thank you, O Great One.

Why are progs upset? They spent eight years wailing that all coastal cities would be submerged. You 'd think they would be relieved.

Sea level rise has been at the high end of IPCC predictions.

As far as new predictions..

By 2100 the sea's will be on average at least one foot higher. That's huge for the coast.

If the coasts are going to be underwater, why are all the leftists congregating there? Some kind of kool-aid drinking suicidal pact? That would fall in line with all the self loathing. I can see it now, New Years eve 2099, millions of leftists lining the beaches doing their countdown to Armageddon.
