The president has less privilegues I guess, senators and deputies can continue to in their posts even though they are waiting for trial but the president cant. But the biggest privilege that they all have is that they can only be charged by the Surpreme Court and they are slow as hell. It always takes forever for them to do anything. The ex-Senate president for instance, was charged for a case that was from IIRC 9 years ago. He did a lot worse stuff since thenYou say the President vacates office upon being charged, but in an earlier post you mentioned members of congress losing legal privileges upon leaving office, implying they are safe as long as they are in office. Are there different standards, or is this just a matter of being able to influence the process?
