sounds like you might want to automate the process then. But that opens up a whole other can of worms i suppose

Sorry. I should have come back about the automation. Automation could work, but an automated system would bring stocks into the net that have not been visually picked by me for chart pattern correctness. For me its all visual. When I see the stock I know it like a friend.

She did, Ace. But after all these months, don't let me break your rhythm.

You couldn't break wind.

Does she need you here parroting her, skippy?

She's an adult and you are not her mother.

Now run along little man.

This thread is amazing. Brilliant, insightful comments to all traders involved.

I seem to remember reading one of the trading classics, "Reminiscences..." I think, and he said he just learned from reading the raw tape - no charts, no graphs, no wiggly lines.

There really is something pure about that. No indicators to "help" or "hurt" your opinion. You're forced to figure it out on your own. No gurus. No systems. No chats. No preset patterns that make you force price into the pattern rather than the other way around.

Cathy, don't give up. Trust yourself and you'll find YOUR path.

Cathy’s last post was 2 weeks ago. Hey maybe she is right because I have days I want to quit too. The market has become my life and I don't think just being profitable is rewarding enough. I invested a few years and I would be in heaven just making 80k this year. I always tell myself just make money each month and wait for the better times. Well maybe there is no better times coming. I tell people my job and they look at me like I said I’m a ghost buster. Also I could only imagine how it looks on a resume. It’s got to be like having professional crack head or three card moty player on your resume. It’s so hard to make real money because the market scares you out so easily. I feel the s&p and dow will break down soon and what the hell happens the naz comes alive to rally them. I would bet anything the market will move down soon but it all really comes down to a guess I think.

Doesn't she live in FL on a boat?
Trading probably hasn't been her main worry lately.

Maybe the Dingo's got her?
