Giving money away makes me happy and study done shows I ain't alone

That might be true only when the givers needs are already met and satisfied ,then there is enough to give away to someone else. Very needy people in general do not give away anything if they need it themselves to survive. Of course there are the weak minded people that can be convinced if they do a sacrificial suicide bombing they will be rewarded with many virgins in the afterlife. But then its not really them "giving anything" they are hoping for a return on their investment of their life, with the reward of sex from many virgins.:D
 
After a trip to Reno I brought home some of those coins I didn't cash in at the Silver Legacy casino. I gave them away to the beggars/homeless on the streets of nyc with a cheery smile and said "go west". Made me feel better, giving someone hope, a new start, a new life in a new city.
 
Giving money away can buy you happiness.
Giving money away can contribute toward making a better world.
Giving money or gifts can make you feel good, worthy, liked, and accepted.
Giving money away can buy you friends.
Giving money away can insure others tolerate your beliefs and behavior.
(Example: buying rounds at the local watering hole)
If to a charitable organization, giving money and gifts away lowers your taxes.

Giving others money or gifts is, to different extents, being selfishness tainted with feelings of sharing.
I believe it is important to balance “Giving” to meet both one’s short-term, and long-term satisfaction.

At one end of the spectrum, is an insecure bar fly living with his parents with an $80,000 a year profession, surviving and living check by check. At the other end is someone being selfish enough to build wealth to live in abundance, then giving away more than he ever thought possible.

Once I gave $ to a bum in the subway.

My colleague said... you are too nice... why do you give him $? He could work for it himself.

I said... well we do not know what he is going through right now. There are endlesss possibilities as to why he is not working. But that is no reason as to not help. I feel so good when I help someone.

They say that what comes around goes around and if you are stuck to your $ and do not flow it once in a while then you will not be able to receive any in the future.
