The payroll tax cut means that social security is now even deeper into deficit. If you want to get social security in your old age PAY FOR IT. Of course it would have helped if congress hadn't spent all that money in the social security trust fund on other things, back when we had social security surpluses. There is one form of sharia law I favor: Cut off the hand of politicians who raid the social security trust fund. Had we had that policy Ron Paul would be the only two handed congressman.
Obama, like nearly all the Democrats (and Newt Gingrich), is a big fan of illegal alien amnesty. He has issued an executive order that makes a large fraction of the illegal immigrant population non-deportable. Illegal immigration puts millions of the most economically vulnerable Americans out of work and depresses the wages of millions of others. Our corporate masters love illegal immigration for that very reason.
The Democrats have been just as keen as the Republicans on the trade agreements that have hollowed out American manufacturing. To quote Bill Clinton, "NAFTA, we have ta!".
As the party of George Soros and Goldman Sachs, I really don't think the Democrats are going to do much about the increasing economic inequality in this country.
He wants to give every union member, government employee, welfare recipient, Hollywood fatcat and hedge fund zillionaire a fair shot. The rest of us get to pay for the bullets.
