I'm amazed at what is going on. Virginia is threatening to actually track down gun owners and charge them with a felony if they don't register their guns. We're talking about long rifles that were not previously required to be registered.
It will have to work its way to the Supreme Court probably but I think most of this is going to be ruled unconstitutional. Its amazing to me that it is happening in Virginia because Virginia is considered to be the most reasonable compared to Maryland and DC so far as taxation and ridiculous vehicle laws etc. If you had to work in DC the smart tip was to live in Virginia. Maybe that is not true anymore.
I never lived there, I lived in Chevy Chase inside the beltway when I had a job in DC. The BS in Maryland is epic. Had I stayed there I would have moved out to Virginia, at least the Virginia side of the river.
