I do like raising the age to 21. That does help, and it absolutely should happen. Though soldiers can then fight and die in the endless wars of this country but they can't own a gun for protection in the country they serve. Seems a bit ass backwards, but hey! That's par for the course with legislation these days!

Active duty or an honorable discharge should come with a few perks and a pass on the 21 age limit if the service member chooses once they’ve completed basic.

What are the chances these Red Flag laws will be weaponized by the left and used as a political club? I would say it's a lock that's just what will happen. Consider that they have used 1984 to be a manual on establishing a Dystopian State to police speech and "perceived threat", how far are we from them using the "Minority Report" to establish a new federal political hit squad?
Hey, my neighbor has an American flag and a Trump 2020 sign in his yard, and he's a hunter so I know he owns a gun. Obviously a threat to the community. We must take him out before he commits the crime. Call 1-800-pre crime
 
Trump is getting very bad advice on this red flag law issue. This is the problem with a president who only has a transactional relationship with his base, rather than a lifelong commitment to the issue.

Trump really does not want to go into the elections having supported gun control and failed miserably on border control. There is a good chance the cuck republicans also pass some sort of Dreamer amnesty.

Braindead DC republican consultants think there is no way republican voters support someone like Warren. Guess what. Trump's election came because he somehow was able to convince blue collar workers in the Midwest that he cared about them. So far he has given them the embassy move and tax cuts for silicon valley billionaires. They still can't afford health care, they still have an opioid epidemic and now they are told to move aside and let the illegals cut in line in front of them for basically everything. Good luck convincing them that "socialism" will be disastrous for them. Seriously, how much worse could it be?
