As someone who actually has been burglarized, this is the gist of it:

Thieves wait until no one is home.
Thieves break in stealing stuff.

You apparently have no concept of the difference between burglary and robbery.

I actually cannot imagine a grown man having the reaction the guy in the pic did. I really cannot imagine him admitting it. You can literally put the butt of the gun on your chin and shoot it. That's how light the recoil is.

As for the "recoil of an AR-15"... total hogwash. While it's loud (high velocity round = loud noise.. DUH!), it's got little more recoil than a .22 varmit rifle.

Like I said. The assault rifles and handguns are toys for paranoid man boys. They are not needed to defend the home. These boys really really like those guns and find them fun to play with, therefore they want to keep them legal even though many more kids will die because Jonny nutjob can easily go down to the store and buy one.
