I would add that a government that intentionally creates more Paul's is a government that does not have the best interest of Peter nor Paul at the core of their ideology.

The gov't was set up to make and enforcer laws that provided for security both within the borders and from neighboring countries. And to provide for the free flow of trade. (yeah, i know, they started to do away with the trade part almost immediately)
But now, the gov't is nothing more than a conduit for the redistribution of wealth. How can anyone deny this.
