Giffords Gives Thumbs Up!

Quote from Rearden Metal:

This may not be such a popular viewpoint, but IMO keeping her alive for the "long, tough road ahead" is the cruelest thing people could possibly do to Giffords. Euthanasia is what I'd want if I were in her situation, no question about that.

Congratulations.

You win the award for the BIGGEST piece of CLUELESS crap on ET for 2011.
And we aren't even done with the month of January yet.

You have no idea what her condition is.
And you have no idea how she will respond to physical therapy and rehabilitation. Zero

Yeah . . . given how incredibly STUPID you are . . . I guess you'd want to have yourself EUTHANIZED when your doctors are telling you that you could be walking again in a matter of months.

We should all be so lucky.

Dude, chill. I know that a bullet went through her brain, so I know enough to say with 100% certainty that I'd much rather be euthanized than live out the rest of my life as a disabled person, even if I could 'recover' from that type of injury as well as anyone has ever recovered from that sort of thing. A 9mm bullet went through the poor lady's brain and came out the other side. Apparently you're a bit fuzzy on what that really means for her future prospects for quality of life. Going forward, even her 'best case scenario' will be a tortured, severely disabled existence. I wish it wasn't so and I wish she could 'get well soon', but wishing or denying the obvious doesn't really change anything, does it?

Hmph.
I suppose there's a reason I put this piece of scrap metal on ignore.
It's funny; I always doubt myself at first, but in every case, the person I decide isn't worth my time says something at least as stupid as the comment that made me do it in the first place.
