There was some discussion today about the synergy between the SLA and AMT and when to focus on one or the other or both. The chart below I hope illustrates how they work together. I haven't posted entries and exits because anyone who's been following along knows where they are and, not only do they provide unnecessary clutter, but the specific entries and exits themselves are up to the individual. Those who have no idea where the entries and exits might be are referred to the first post in this thread. Likewise there's been no mention of context. Those who understand what that is and understand the importance of it will already have plotted it.

Primary consideration at all times: who's in charge?

Thank you FWIW I am so happy that my chart looks just like yours Finally, after all these years, something is sticking.

After reviewing (still need to post something in my journal later), It was a by the book day, it went up there to test 26, just to go back to 00 again. Both levels were part of my prep, but in order to do something about those levels when price finally decides to visit is to be patient. Of course one could have also taken trades within that range, but most of my entries would have been scratched.

But THE entry, the one around 26 was the one that ignited the trend to the downside.

Still lots of things to work around, but I feel I am closer. Thanks Db.

Regarding the balance, I think is finally appearing in front of my eyes, or perhaps better in the back of my head .

I don't think so, we all started the conference call. But perhaps someone did.

I went over the notes of the day, the ones that matter (not mine ). It was a very interesting day.

The notes are located or pointing to the times at which they were posted. It helps me understand some stuff that sometimes don't stick during the session.

I did not realize you mentioned 04 before it was hit, where did you get it from? I was waiting for 00 but 04 was definitely not in my radar.

I didn't. The AMT notation refers to 1700/1698. But then there's that higher low.
