Getting out of jury duty for not being "of sound mind and good moral character" ?

On a related note, maybe our resident victim can speak towards hate crime legislation.

Let's take, as an example, the recent "Flash Mob" violence in Chicago. A group of 10-12 young African-Americans beat up and rob white victims.

If we reversed this and 10-12 young caucasians beat up and robbed black victims, would they prosecute under hate crime legislation?

lol, when I got in back in 92, I think I was the only straight male nurse in my facility. Nurses see each other much more than they see their families:D Then, somehow, other straight guys figgered it out:(

ok, this discussion has been gone long enough.

let me summarize the REAL issues here.

there are at least 3 types of posters:
a white who feels the whites are abused by the system and the blacks
a black who feels the blacks are abused by the system and the whites
a white who feels the blacks are abused by the system and the whites

there are also posters who:
try to avoid jury duty
pretend to never try to avoid jury duty

the things are only complicated by the presence of the stubborn whiny b*tches who feel to be abused by ANY issue
