I support a city tax increase for jurors income to be replaced
I want my taxes to be spent better.I dont want my taxes being spent on wars,bail outs,unpaid for medicare expansion and paying off huge budget deficits from tax cuts.Thats why I vote for the party of Clinton and Carter and not Reagan and Bush
It was the Republican congress that balanced the budget in the 90's, not Clinton. And Carter balanced the budget and in return we got 11% unemployment, gas lines 10 blocks long and the worst stagflation in 100 years. Interest rates peaked at 21% and inflation at 14% Sounds like utopia! No thanks kid.
You mind telling me exactly how your taxes can go towards paying for "unpaid medicare expansion?" Or "Tax cuts" This might be the dumbest thing i have ever read, so you are saying that you want them to up your taxes? or someone elses to pay for these? Im assuming once again that it is someone else you want paying for it.
I doubt you have ever even paid any taxes to begin with.

If I was part of the group that didn't pay taxes I wouldn't be bitching about jury duty not replacing my income and happily take the 40.00 a day jury duty in my county pays

If they dont take out withholding taxes it would be close to even after minimum wage withholding taxes are taken out.
As a teen I worked in a burger joint for minimum wage.I would have loved jury duty at that time over flipping burgers and mopping floors
