I remember this one yuppie guy (annoying people) I gave hime a quote for a job -he told me to "sharpen" my pencil (meaning he wanted a lower price). I said "no problem" you want a lower price I can cut corners and do a lousy job. He said "that's not what I meant". I said then quit asking me for a lower price. Certainly, you could offer anyone charged with certain felonies the option to leave and avoid prosecution provided there was somewhere they can go- not JUST black people.

And yes, I think black people were wronged historically by slavery and, if they so choose, should be entitled to some reparations IF they want to leave. If they want to stay and be a part of the nation they shouldn't be entitled to the reparations: being here instead of Africa is the reparation. If they feel emnity towards America such that they don't want to be a part of it, well, that's reasonable too and only then should they get the reparation payment (whatever it is) but they should also part ways with America.

Of course I would not deny the opportunity to African Americans to return to their ancestral lands, and live within their own civilization, with their own shared ethnocultural values and identity reflected in their communities. There's nothing "hateful" or "racist" about that. I think that's one of the most natural desires in the world, and is healthy and organic way to live.
