Yes, sales is a part of business. But so is marketing, finance, supply chain, strategy, human resources, accounting, etc.

Wrong. MBAs aren't hired that much in sales roles. Why? Because you don't need a MBA to be great at sales. MBAs typically did well in their prior career, and use the MBA to move into higher roles within that career, and some use it to change careers.
