OK. First attempt to group faster fractal tapes into Trading Fractals (TF). The day begins with a carry over TF1 with its FTT on bar 4. TF2 ends at bar 15 with ftt of 3rd faster fractal, creating p1 of TF3. The first faster fractal ends at bar 19 with ftt, and bars 19 and 20 form the rtl of our short faster fractal.
This is where I hit a problem. We do not appear to have an ftt on bar 20 yet bar 21 clearly creates an up tape so I would expect my TF RTL to connect low of bar 15 to low of bar 20 (thick dashed black). Bar 22 is my long ftt so I would be expecting a short TF to begin here. Bar 23 is a sym, bar 24 is a stitch, with a low equal to the low of bar 22 so I cannot draw an rtl for a new short faster fractal tape. The high of bar 35 (11:35) exceeds the high of bar 22 (green line) so I am forced to fan the RTL of TF3. However, I would expect to be short from the ftt at bar 22 so I am upside down.
Bar 25 and 26 give me a new rtl and an ftt on bar 26. Bar 27 has LH LL and creates a short rtl which gets fanned to the high of bar 28, giving me a horizontal rtl as we leave the ftt and FTT behind at bar 26.
I am now looking to create TF4 with short, long, short (dom, nondom, dom) faster fractal tapes. Things get interesting at bar 36 with sequential ftp, sym, ob,ftp, ftp, through which I assume we fan our rtl, across to bar 40. Bars 41 and 42 accelerate the rtl, with an ftt on bar 42. Bar 43 creates an up tape with ftt and bar 44 a down tape with ftt on bar 45, thus creating TF4.
TF5 seems straightforward with ftt and FTT on bar 58.
Bar 59 begins TF6, and our first ftt occurs on bar 63. The non dom long ftt occurs on bar 66. Bars 67 and 68 create the 2nd dom leg of our short TF and we get ftt on bar 69. This is where I would expect long TF7 to begin but there is no opportunity to draw a long rtl before the low of bar 69 is exceeded by bar 74 (green line), so my TF6 RTL cannot be correct. Once again I am upside down on bar 74.
