As Justice Benjamin Cardozo said: "any principle can be extended beyond the extremities of its logic."

When being hunkered down in the basement becomes being hunkered down in the morgue it does become probllematic- for the candidate anyway. Maybe not for the party.

Dr. Oz is carpet bagging. He can get mean but that could backfire. Historically, voters are very sympathetic to candidates with medical issues. Medical issues are a personal vulnerability and vulnerability is seen as trustworthy. What Oz needs is some authenticity. He seems like a guy who asks for directions at a rest stop on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

I heard that Larry Elder had sent some Relief Factor to Fetterman to help him out a bit.

I had forgotten that this Fraudderman guy is actually Lt. Governor.

So in addition to quipping about his absence and hiding his illness it actually has implications in regard to his obligations of the office to keep people notified.

Probably some politics going on here in this inquiry, but still a valid issue underneath.
