People in those professions don't need to worry about outsourcing. It's insourcing they need to be concerned about.

What's stopping some 25-year old college grad from India coming here to do the same job for 1/3 the salary?

It won't last forever though. Eventually, countries like China and India will rise to our standard of living and demand the same in terms of salary.

Then we will have to find some other piss poor country to exploit for cheap labor. There are plenty of them out there.

That's why America is the place where we figure out how to do things. Then we hire serfs in crappy countries to put our things together for us. Meanwhile we can work on new design approaches for microprocessors, a better internet, cool finance structures (OK so maybe we still need to tune some ideas but it goes to show how hard this is), etc etc etc.

Want to change the USA in one easy step? Get rid of intellectual property rights. Tariffs will be in place immediately, but even then the engine of capitalism would be in rough shape.
