forex, my bad.

Sometimes these tablets tell you what to post instead of the other way around.

As a long time elite trader reader and poster, I have noticed that FOREX type subjects seem to attract the oddballs, trolls, radical politicos and other undesirables to this site. My suggestion is to get rid of all FOREX threads and topics once and for all.

I believe the quality of elite will go up remarkably after the folks drawn here for the FOREX topics move to another site.

Most of these FOREX folks are simply not worth the trouble they cause. Please consider this sincere suggestion. FOREX results in much more trouble than its worth.

thank you

Surf,

What you say sounds like the term "elite" means rich and arrogant people who do not mind to lose a lot of money because they can afford to.

Not everyone comes from money.

People who fight their way through difficulties have all my respect.

Isn't it better to give them a hand as oppose to supressing them?

That's not what I meant, sorry for the misunderstanding. Directing these folks AWAY from forex would be the best help that could be given---there are plenty of other low $ opportunities, Nadex, mini options, etc no need for bucket shop FX.

Are CME e-micro currency futures counted as forex or not? :)

FX is not a problem. Quite a number of FX bucket shops have grown so big they are now major players in the forex scene.

After the disaster with MF Global, I have lost my trust and confidence with the regulated markets and the authorities who are supposed to oversee them.

One interesting difference between forex and regulated contracts like eminis is that forex traders need the discipline themselves to not overleverage to blow up their accounts while the regulated markets with much higher margin simply shut their doors to people who do not have as much money to start their trading career. Yet, the increased barrier to entrance with the eminis and other regulated stuff has a famous 90% failure rate while the forex markets have reportedly showing 40% failure rate only.

Which one is safer to trade?

I am not judging. =)

Now you can see the results of the infux of forex with the decline of elite trader. I warned about this, now its happening. very sad.

This thread explains what happens when the site starts to attract Forex peace army types rather than real traders---\\

Let's start by slashing the forex threads and banning anyone who came here by following forex-- then maybe the quality will return. I have a list of 15 names of what started the slipping into irrelevance to ban----
