Once again, the issue isnt with the FOREX threads themselves.
Unfortunately, the FOREX threads are the nectar to the malcontents, miscreants and troubled souls who let their anger flow freely onto the various other threads on elite trader.
FOREX allows trading with as little as ONE RED CENT in youir account, per OANDA marketing material-- this is why the washed up, angry traders come to elite because they see FOREX and can trade with ONE RED CENT in their account. If we eliminate the FOREX threads, we will cease to be attractive to the malcontents and politicos who seek out that word in search engines finding this nice neighborhood then seeking to destroy it.
It's just the way it is.

No, you are missing the point completely. its that the FOREX threads attract the malcontents--- if these folks would just stay on the FOREX thread, I would have no issue with them at all. However, they sense the success of others in the main forums and come there to cause chaos. It's like having a BBQ with a bunch of bees around. The BBQ is the attraction to the bees just like the FOREX threads attract the trouble to elite. Get rid of the FOREX threads, stop the BBQ, and there will be no more, or much less bees causing trouble. This is such an obvious fact that I am very surprised more folks who care about this site have not joined the campaign. surf
I get what you are saying and I'm saying that I don't see it. I don't see forex posters ruining other threads, so I am not in favor of your resolution. And furthermore, you've provided no proof other than your 'observations' which doesn't carry a lot of weight.
If you want something to be done, you need to show evidence, actual consistent proof of these members specifically ruining other threads outside forex.
