Arrogance and stupidity are two different traits.

Arrogance has to do with behavior.

Stupidity has to with lack of some form of IQ.

Relatively speaking, stupid people (lacking in some form of IQ) lack the capacity to realize that they are arrogant. They are shamelessly bold. Annoying, too.

Stupid people should be segregated and be forced to live with each other. This is a win win situation where all parties will be able to live in peace and harmony.

The way it is used around here, at least on ET, arrogance=stupidity, and if someone doesn't agree with you, let's say they claim stupidity, if you argue with them then you are arrogant.

It isn't consistent at all with the true bravado needed to be called arrogant and also be obviously in the wrong about something.
