Quote from Gabfly1:

If you met her here at ET and she read your posts AND she still agreed to marry you, then it must well and truly be love. The real, blind kind. You know what they say, unlucky in ES, lucky in love...

Congratulations.

PS. does annaland know about her? :D

Getting better than ever, gabby. Isn't that the way it's suppose to be?

So what you're saying is that the relationship is trending in the right direction. I'm glad to hear it, surf.

I'm in love with a woman and she is in love with me. That's a whole 'nuther thing than "I'm in love with a woman".

I'd first ask myself: "was this woman raised to give a man the relational support that every man needs?".. if she's an American or Brit the answer is NO!! If she's from somewhere else the answer is: "Maybe"...

If you don't know what you really need from a woman then read some titles from Jonathan Gray. You have to know what you are looking for before you go shopping and a very high percentage of people don't. Read the original book by Myers-Briggs and select the personality types that will be compatible with you.. that is a very good thing to understand. It took me a few months to get it all sorted out but wow, when I'm first talking to a woman I can zoom in on personality type like a Sherlock Holmes! You only need four questions answered and you have the Myers-Briggs type and you know more about a person than they know about themselves.. It's good to read up on psychopaths too, if you can spot those bastards you can save yourself a lot of trouble both generally and relationally...

Annoying commercial in the beginning. Otherwise a beautiful rendition of Fur Elise

How does love happen? When I wasn't looking for love, it happened so easily. Now that I thinking I want to "get attached" (maybe in the next 5 years or so) I'm just not feeling it. And not for a lack of options. I am currently in a situation with my job where I am surrounded by dozens of quality women, some of them the hottest women I have ever known. And I'm not talking about party girls, but real women, many who have the qualities I am looking for. I am in peak shape physically, and financially well off, so my chances with these girls are pretty good. My mind says, yes I could be comfortable spending the rest of my life with the person. But where is that magic?

My last real love, even my last crush, was a long time ago. I wonder how I could ever be so crazy over one person. Thinking that no one else compared. Maybe it was true.

If the shoe fits....

Quote from nitro:

Of course there is little reason and logic, although restraint even in passionate love is warranted. Perhaps this is one of the messages in Romeo and Juliet, slow down, relax, take a deep breath...

I find it interesting that in the greatest love story ever told, Juliet is an extraordinarily reasonable person, astonishing for such a young age. I wonder why Shakespeare characterized her this way? This is no ordinary man mind you...

The most perfect Juliet ever:

They keep breaking the link. Here is the link to the whole movie
