Your speed will be impacted by the number of devices on your home network, time of day, type of computer that's connected to your home network and the server you're testing (e.g. best to test your connection to your broker server instead of your local server).
This is my test. The image contains three tests. The first test (left in the image) is wired test to broker server, center is WiFi test to broker server and the right is local test to the ISP. The numbers are a little better when there's no other devices (e.g. kids iPad/android, kids nintendo swith, kids Xbox) connected to my home network while my computers for trading are connected.
950 mbps wired via fast.com / 230 mbps wifi via fast.com / 1.1 gbps via the ISP test
In fact, using the ISP test instead of Fast.com, I have the option of running the tests with/without the other devices connected to my home netword as shown in the image on the right.
Thanks to this thread...I never heard of mesh router and such...I'm now looking into it to improve my WiFi connection. Hopefully I can improve my WiFi connections via mesh after I have a discussion with the guy that manages my home network. Recently, I had a few disconnections while outside on WiFi about 50 feet away from the home while there were no other devices connected to my home network except for my computers for trading.
