What are your thoughts on GE's price movement after the Japanese earthquake? With the demand for infrastructure services to rebuild Japan, a conglomerate like GE should have upside. It also stands to benefit from the business cycle's historical trends according to this article:

Does GE sell many products in Japan? It's a different market in Japan. Everything has to be small and energy efficient because both space and energy are expensive.

Well I was thinking more of the stuff GE sells to the industrial and business market. Stuff like generators, power plant parts, turbines, engine parts, etc. Also, some of the competing Japanese production has been taken offline now.

That stuff is all smaller in Japan, regardless of whether it's tractors, generators, or backhoes. Airplanes, however, are the same size because they use Boeings.
