So, Europe, the beacon of the Green world fucked up. Wise Europeans suddenly forgot about the environment. Our local idiots in the US still preach geniuses from the Promise Land of the Environment. Meanwhile, the smarter part of the country is silently making money selling energy to almost bankrupt brothers and sisters in Europe. Why are all these greatest wind turbines not saving Germany? Uh, well, they cannot. Illusions never work.

Germans have a gene for pragmatism. They will light up the coal stations and refire the old nuke stations when they cannot heat their homes. Its a given. Let them feel the bite of winter.

I'm hoping degrowth doesn't go further than 18th century New England. Should be sustainable for a couple billion peeps. Even without whale oil and slavery. I won't see it of course.
 
It is 23% of unreliable supply. Today it is 10% tomorrow it is 40%. Nuclear power is much better. Unfortunately, brains of many Germans got some greenish color recently; they do not look fresh. Many in the US are pointing fingers toward Europe and saying we are falling behind. Yes, we are falling behind in this idiocy.
