The article is from Russia Today. Russian propaganda that has nothing to do with reality.
I have family in Russia and Crimea. They asked me many times if we still are not freezing.
I send them pictures from last winter. Temperature inside was 22° Celsius. They really believe that we were freezing. :D

In Russia there are millions of people that are freezing EVERY year. So even before the war.
They have no heating, no drinking water and no real toilet at all. They now even reduced again the pension for the poor Russians. They had already not enough to survive, now they have even less. Pensions between $50 and 150 seem to be normal there.
The only way to keep the Russians calm is to pretend that they are lucky as in the West it is even worse. ROFLMAO.

For over 20 years, Putin and his friends are stealing all the money.

Just follow the Russian media (there are many in English language, like TASS, RT, Sputnik etc.) to get the answer.
Unfortunately some braindamaged fascist sicko countries in the West are blocking Russian media b/c it reports the truth and western people believe the Russian media more than the own western lie press...
