Germany complains about "astronomical price demands by friends" :-)

Happy 70th birthday today for my friend Vladimir Putin. Best wishes and long life!

For your birthday present I wish to reimind you that there are 162 countries on YOUR SIDE and not on the side of the WEST's bullies!!

Take a bow, Chief, things are nowhere near the way the West is amking it out to be that you are a pariah!!!!

You have the world's most populous democratic country on your side and of course there is China and now Saudi Arabia.

Stand tall, Chief.

Top marks goes to your professor Timoshenko at M. Uni who posed the question .............

A train is traveling due north. Which direction is the friction?

And that is why the US is the number one suspect in the sabotaging of the pipeline. They are the one to profit the most. And not just that. The benefit of Europe and Russian breakup of relationships is worth hundreds of billions to the US.

Germany complains about "astronomical prices" for gas demanded by US and other friend countries :)
Dumbo Germany, there is no such thing like "friendship" in business :)

You mean the orange monkey, citizen of the same country that holds Germany hostage now? And the same country that forced the entire world to isolate Russia. It was certainly not Europe's idea to do so. The US greatly benefits from discontent and soured relationships.

I love it when Trump told the dumb Germans they needed to quit relying on Russian natural gas because they could be held prisoner (figuratively, not literally). They all laughed at him. He was right of course. Reap what you sow, dummies! And pay us our money, we tried to tell you LOL!!!

With all due respect you know shit. Those fixed contracts between countries (ultimately executed contracts by US corporations) are far above market prices. Do some research before you make yourself look stupid.

As people pointed out, its a market. To the extent the USA is being "greedy" now, you could say Germany was being "greedy" when they decided to go with Russia and get dirt cheap gas even though they would be funding Russia's army bill and be subject to the risk Russia cuts them off. They made the wrong call. Russia's natural gas has exited the market, so now they have to go to the market without the Russian competition. They could have gone to the market WITH the Russian competition, but they decided to go with Russia instead. Their call, and this is where they are at because of it. Reap what you sow.
