Fuck you max, you are talking like an idiot. I gave you the exact amount I paid a crew and the number of men it takes to do the job. A job that takes 3 men one day to do pays $1650.00. I do not tell the sub how to split up the money. Out of this amount about $300 goes to dump fees and some to gas and a little to things like hook blades. Get out your calculator and punch in the numbers max, there is good money in this business. It's too damn bad our home grown boys don't get out there and do the work, but they won't.

I don't know why, they should. It takes some equipment, a 3/4 ton truck, a dump trailer, compressor and nail guns and some hand tools and some good workers and of course some skill. It isn't just black kids mav, it's all of them. It seems they are content working at McDonalds for $8 an hour or not working at all, instead of busting their ass in the sun and making twice that. Either you are describing the absolute best case scenario or shinglers in texas make more than accountants.

In the scenario you just gve you said you would pay them 1650 for a job that would take 3 guys 1 day, and 300 of dump fees.

So 1650-300 = 1350 - 50 for gas = 1300

1300 /3 = 433 per person for one day, you just gave your guys an 8 dollar an hour raise from the scenario you previously described which where guys make 350 per day.

Supposedly these guys who are subcontracted from you are making six figures pounding shingles, and you are still able to skim money off the top, dude do you not understand how unrealistic these numbers are?

I have a feeling the numbers you have given us are the absolute max, where you quote a person high cause its not a job you need, and not a job you wanna do.
