Yes I do pay them a fair wage apx. 18% above the going rate. But for me it's worth it, they are very good, honest and dependable and they have all their legal paperwork to work in America and some of them are born here. If these young white boys would get their shit together they could make $200 to $350 a day working putting on roofs, that's what my green card Mexican workers make during the roofing season. But they won't so I hire Mexicans and first generation Americans from Mexican or Central America decent. From experience I will not hire a white roofing crew, they are ex-cons, or drug users or will steal jobs from people who come up on the job site wanting bids. I do my work right maverick, how I vote or what I think about religion has nothing to do with my business. There are many good businesses run by democrats, republicans and independents. I don't think it's politically related.
