George Zimmerman: Hero

Zimmerman: I need an ambulance for an overturned truck!

911 Dispatch: Ok what color is the truck?

Zimmerman: *pauses* Oh hell no, I'm not going through that shiat again!

Quote from JamesL:

Fallout:

The family rescued by George Zimmerman after a rollover crash in Florida are terrified they will become targets for hate mobs

-Mark and Dana Michelle Gerstle said they do not want to talk publicly about Zimmerman for fear they will be accused of portraying him as a hero

That's a pretty sad state of affairs. Although probably justified.

We should start coming up with future "Zimmerman: Hero" headline scenarios.

For example:

Event:
Zimmerman pushes Rev. Sharpton out of the way of a speeding car.

MSNBC Headline: "Zimmerman pushes, assaults Al Shartpton"

FOX Headline: "What is Zimmerman thinking?"

Way to go George! You are a standup guy!

I can't wait until Obama comes out and says, "If I had a son he would act just like George Zimmerman."

Zimmerman is a credit to America and those who know him.

What about me pspr, I've helped dozens of people out of crashed cars. That makes me a credit to America too, in your eyes at least, doesn't it?

You cause people to crash their cars simply by being near them on the road.

:D

Yes, if that is true and you weren't the cause of the accidents, it does. More importantly, it makes you a credit to mankind in God's eyes whether you believe in him or not. :)

Now don't go being too nice, we don't want to disturb the flow here. It was back in my fire dept. days, back before firemen were hero's, pre 9-11. The jaws unit was on my truck so I went to a lot of bad accidents. Nowadays I stop whenever I'm first on the scene of an accident, don't know how much I remember about EMT after all these years, but I'm cool under pressure. Back in the day a lot of people didn't like firemen because we all had part time jobs or a business and drawing a city pay check.

I sort of figured it was when you were a fireman. But, that doesn't diminish your actions.

I have friends who are/were firemen. Many had marriage problems because of the hours.
