To be fair, his point is valid if he's certain that the other candidate's presidency would be bad. Which in these hyper-partisan times seems to be a widespread certainty, left and right.

So he's going with the devil he doesn't know? I mean really, really doesn't know? Sounds like a bad trade with no regard for risk. Worse still, he completely dismisses the considerable risks that are known.
