As long as those 90 % who didn't get their card
don't give the impression they REALLY know
how one should get a card...

I don't take offense for that, I just say
what I think, you are free to do the same.

I would like to see the account statements
of all those TV guru's to see if they in fact
trade the advice they advocate.

I had a relative of mine, a stockbroker, who
was telling his clients that it was a golden
buy opportunity and at the same time , he
was 100 % cash and stayed that for the next
3 months...

If I were an aspiring golfer trying to get my PGA card, I think I would be eager to learn from someone who had already tried, so I could learn from their mistakes.

Okay...I think I see where you're coming from. Your putting everyone in the same basket...honest and crooks, alike. No, I wouldn't want to take advice from a con-man, but I don't feel that the 90% that fail are all con-men.

Breakout,

I would go to the 10 % that got their PGA card
to learn ...

Of course you would...I would ,too.
But, I wouldn't write off the other 90% as useless, either.

Off course not, it is not a black and white
thing, your chances just are better with
the 10 % succesfull people...

Whether or not your chances are better with the 10% would be another argument. But, for now I was just talking about your earlier statement..."Quote...Just like 90% of traders lose money,I think we can say that 90% of those people talking about the market and pretending they have insights of value, are just that "Pretenders".

Anyway, I've enjoyed the discussion. Have a great day!
