I watched the Shootout saturday night and the cars were all over the place. Very skittish. Did they change the package somehow?
Did you see those two saves Kyle made toward the end of the race? Stewart was pretty stout in his new ride.

NASCAR, in its infinite wisdom, decided no testing at any NASCAR Sanctioned tracks this year (excludes Goodyear Tire Testing). As a result, we witnessed a number of cars which acted as if they were racing on ice. Expect more of the same Thursday afternoon (along with a bunch of crumpled sheet metal).

Kyle weaved his way through that mess in quite the expert fashion. Nice to see Harvick snag that win as well. I hope Smoke has tremendous success with his organization this year. He did learn from one of the best - Coach Gibbs.
Keep an eye on that 24 bunch. I think we are going to see some great things out of that group this year.
