Pole-sitter Jack Sprague passed Travis Kvapil in the tri-oval to steal a victory in the season-opening Chevy Silverado HD 250 at Daytona for Toyota's first win at the superspeedway. Johnny Benson went low and nipped Kvapil to secure second.

All i can say is that the finish has so much shit happening that we didn't even know who won for several minutes.....Its hard to watch the final two when there's cars exploding all around you...My little bro has all the pix and videos so i will upload them when he sends them....Tony was STRONG until he got a little loose...his tires were worn out from carving his way back.....My brother had never been to a race....he has decided to be a Clint Boyer fan because " anybody who crosses the finish line upside down, backwards and on fire has to be a real man!!"
you should have heard all the whiners about martin ' getting robbed'.... personally, i think NASCAR got it right...much rather have it decided on the track then to have a guy with a flag review film and decide every place .....
Gordon.......is starting to concern me....He use to be able to overcome anything, but more and more he's becoming and ordinary driver unless he has the best car....if everything is not perfect he starts to complain and whine and doesn't get over it.
On a side note....IT WAS F-ING FREEEEEZZZZZING!!!
I Wore long pants, a tee shit, a sweat shirt and a winter coat over that and i was STILL freezing....when 4o cars go by at 190, it creates quite the wind chill...but NASCAR f-ed up...they got to start this thing at 12:00...or 1:00 at the latest......by the time the race started we were already out of the sun and the temps were below 45 when the race finished.
