Interesting that you didn't include Champ Car,
ALMS or NHRA.
This is THE weekend for NHRA.

ya know, I never got into NHRA.....then again, it wasn't until i went to a live Nascar event that i became addicted.....Have yo been to a live NHRA? What's it like? the crowd? Adrenaline?

TM Direct, don't go to an NHRA event, you'll get hooked.
Especially if you get a pit pass, it is TOO cool.
The smell of the nitro, open exhaust, it's really something.

Always been a circle track fan, but I did get free tickets to an NHRA race at Joliet a few years ago. The noise is absolutely insane, I was a half mile from the track when the first round went off, they are setting off car alarms a half mile away. You could feel the vibration in your chest. I liked it, you know raise the hair on your arms and neck. When I sat down, I had no idea how fast 4.80 in a quarter mile really is. And I think they are down to 4.20's now. I would recommend it at least once for any motorsport fan. Bring or buy earplugs.

Gordon's got a nice little momentum thing goin on coming into the chase.

thx for all the info ...Im going to try it...I remember years ago I use to wonder how people could sit in the stands and watch guys turn left for 250 laps! LOL....now im one of them
