NASCAR's Kyle Busch admits to improper driving, fined

RICHMOND, Va. -- NASCAR driver Kyle Busch pleaded guilty Tuesday to improper driving and was fined $150.

The plea, entered in Henrico General District Traffic Court, stems from an incident April 12 in suburban Richmond when Busch was ticketed for reckless driving after he pulled out of a gas station and into a fast-food restaurant.

Busch has said he "chirped" his tires but did not exceed 10 mph.

Under the reckless driving charge, a misdemeanor, Busch could have received up to one year in jail, a $2,500 fine and a driver's license suspension.

Busch, who is 20, drives for Hendrick Motorsports.
