For some reason Kurt was a prohibitive favorite. My neighbor bet him on line and he went off at only 350. (3.5-1) Great race and glad he won. BTW: Was that two cars that Tony Stewart knocked off the track yesterday?

Kenseth is close to getting the pussy label stuck on him. He should have moved the 88 out of the way in those final laps. I know Dale Jarrett is a respected veteran driver, but he was holding Kenseth up and that let the 2 get on his tail. Then the 2 thought nothing of running up on him in the turn and moving him aside. Or just paint a bullseye on your bumper, because no one will worry about hitting you. You notice that people tend to drive very carefully around the 20. I submit that a subtle difference exists between the 'bump and run' and the 'bump and wreck' which Kenseth initiated on Gordon. I also suspect that had you been running third at Bristol, and the guy you just passed clean (Gordon didn't lay the bumper on Kenseth, according to the replays I watched) comes up and wrecks you on the Final Lap - causing you to finish 21st and drop a place in the Point Standings - you might be just a tad bit upset. As a Gordon Fan, I've seen Jeff "move drivers out of the way" many times - especially at Bristol. In fact, Gordon earlier 'accidently' wrecked Truex just as Kenseth 'accidently' wrecked him. One of them Bristol 'Racin' Deals' from where I sit. However, I was happy to see a little fire in Jeff as he exited the #24 Dupont Chevrolet. I don't blame Gordon a bit. All I'm saying is Kenseth is developing an unfortunate reputation. An easy guy to pass on the last lap.

Kenseth has always had a reputation of a guy that would race you clean. Unfortunately, you correctly observe the transition that is occurring as other drivers now see him as a patsy. Unfortunately, I agree he should be looking to get even, but sadly, I don't see him doing it. I also think a number of drivers might have a little 'payback' on their minds this week, and Martinsville (just as Bristol before it) has a tendency to sort these things out. I'd keep an eye on Kenseth, Gordon, Stewart and Truex - just to name a few.

I think Dale Jr will probably tell Truex to cool it. Truex was way out of line. I don't think he wants to develop a fued with Stewart and/or Gordon his first year in Cup.
A costly shove for Jeff Gordon.
