Genocide in Syria

Every single day of this, 5 years running, all under the Obama watch. Of all the many foreign policy failures of this administration, Syria stands out as the ultimate illustration of a do nothing but talk policy. The media, of course, has given Obama a free pass on this, but they seem suddenly concerned as of late. 5 will get you 10 that they'll be blaming Trump for this horror the minute he steps in office and will be demanding solutions.

The left thinks ISIS is acceptable enough to team up with, Putin is bad, and Trump is too stupid to realize it. So the electoral college needs to be rigged to save democracy.

Liberal logic.

The entire situation is sad in Syria. I don't know what the right solution is, but there has got to be a better approach than the current one.

If you don't stop killing one another were going to come in there and kill you all.
Sometimes it takes a common enemy to unite a people.

Syria is a flashpoint for the coming confrontation between Trump and the republican congress on foreign affairs. They don't think he understands what is at stake.

So far, their policy has resulted in millions of refugees, one group of terrorists supplied by us fighting another group supplied by us and the Saudis, Russia getting a chance to play a practice game against ISIS and kicking their butt, Iran consolidating its position in both Iraq and Syria, and we get the satisfaction of seeing military equipment the US taxpayers bought for Iraq being used by ISIS thugs.

As an added bonus, Obama and his sophisticated foreign policy have brought us closer to war with a nuclear power than anytime since the Cuban missile crisis. But Trump is the problem, the threat, the moron who doesn't grasp the nuances of foreign policy.

The real issue in Syria is that Assad blocks a natural gas line from Quatar to Western Europe, which would severely harm Russian gas export to Western Europe. The rest is just propaganda for the plebs.

What about the Genocide happening in other parts of the world? You never seem to hear about those situations. It seems that the one the administration cares about right now is Syria.

We should not send American men and women to die when there are plenty of Muslims in the middle east who can go there and fight. Why put our people in this fight? We have no business getting involved in Syria. It is time we focus on fixing our own issues here at home.
