Enjoy your fantasy. Your assertions regarding red states and blue states in regards who are the takers have been debunked multiple times.

Your post is as usual a lie, New York runs a large and generous Medicaid program paid by their own taxpayers unlike red states who underfund whatever little programs they have and then let the federal government make up the difference which is paid for by blue states. This is like saying Norway and Denmark are worse off than Iraq and Afghanistan because Norway has a generous social program while Iraqis can't even rely on their government for basic amenities., the logic is ridiculous and is only expected from a conservative.

“Financiers” don’t contribute, proportionally, to GDP. The vast majority of GDP is derived from small businesses in Blue States.

Factually, the vast majority of govt assistance is to Red States. The rural poor Caucasian voting for a guy who will lift them out of poverty with the most regressive tax system in US history.

Are you trying to claim the vast majority of public benefits in dollars goes to red states? Well in this case you would be wrong again. This has been debunked regularly as nonsense.

Yes, as percentage of State GDP (output), not notional.

You have to take out government spending for military bases and the like, though. That's not really benefits to people of the state, and it is frequently included in the overall "public benefits" number.

The defense department is the biggest welfare program we have though?

I guess, depending on perspective I can understand that position. But in the sense of discussion regarding federal payments to states to support citizens, you can't really include this. A poor family in Tampa doesn't directly get anything out of the fact that the government spends a lot on McDill AFB.
